Sculptra

As you age, collagen production decreases and your skin doesn’t have the same resiliency and fullness it did in the past. Sculptra is an injectable filler made up of poly-l-lactic acid (PLLA) which activates your skin’s natural power to stimulate collagen production for a more youthful appearance. Results are noticeable gradually since it takes time for your skin to produce collagen. Sculptra can improve wrinkles and restore volume loss in the temples, cheeks, marionette lines and jawline. 

Sculptra is injected in a series of treatments. As a guideline, it is recommended to have one treatment per decade of life. However, Dr. Gerstein will advise what is best suited to you based on your skin condition and desired result. You may start to notice results three to four months after your second treatment. Results will continue to improve for up to six months after your final session and can last up to two years.
